Marvelous Priestess 3d sculpt by a extremely talented character sculpter Roberto v. b. (rvbhal) from Brazil @ Deviantart.com. You must check out his sculpts! All credit to him for the gracious permission & to fluffycat for the free backgroundExcellant Temple of the Leopard Free background from fluffykatt @ the Free store @ Renderosity.com. This is the last character from the Temple series. Background was modded by me, hand painting, lighting, fire, shadings etc... to give it more atmosphere. … read moreModel is also modified to give it a more 3d look and relit. Stunning! Abraxas is one of my favourite sets that i have been playing around with a lot, but i have never been able to make it look like THAT! =) Just checked out your gallery and you do some amazing renders, but what really impresses me is the post work. Just brilliant!

Thank you Ute!!! Couched I spend alot of time with lighting & shading by hand. Pay attension to the colors that belong in the scene but sometimes a lighting color may bring the subject or background more even tho it is not supposed to be there. Takr a look at your theme, what kinda feel does it need to convey. I am by no means as good as most here, BUT I try. Experiment or talk with some of the artists here to get some pointers. My downfall-I am the type who is always looking to better the theme thats why I have many versions of maybe the same theme background or character. If you notice Lord Ambrosius, Merciless & Priestess use the same scene but each one is individually shaded & lit. Making each one unique. I was indecisive about which character to use but it seems all three worked. Some backgrounds just don't fit the Character or vice versa. If someting bothers you then put it down do someting else & then come back to it. You may find you have fresh ideas! And from you Adrie I thank you that means alot. It means I am learning something. You are a great influence among others.

Thanks to Fluffykat's background & Roberto's Priestess sculpture These made for a marvelous composistion.Add in several hours of painstaking handpainting & multiple lighting tests. All three Temple scenes from Merciless to Lord Ambrosius to Priestess were done over a long period of time as I didn't want to force a quick composition.Many thanks to you Flint Hawk That means tons to me!
