Description
a painting in acrylic 16x20
She and her husband been preaching the gospel of Jesus in Mexico. her sons is also preaching there too. She sang a song in Mayan and i thought I recorded the song but forgot to press a button so i did not record.
I meet them after church at the house where the food was that i posted in my gallery. She find out I was a painter so ask if I can paint her portrait. I took her photo and painted it like this.
The painting shows Heaven and Earth in the background with the Cross of Jesus and the Blood Of Jesus that will wash our sins away when we ask Him too. AMOR is Love for GOD is Love. and Gracia is grace ; for by Grace we are saved and that not by our self but a gift from God.
I put the message of the gospel as she and her whole family is preaching it today down in Mexico.
I trying now to get her to approve of the painting .
she did not see it yet as I have to sent it to a preacher down there and he have to print the image and show her.
I got my computer back but the man say the mother broad is out and the memory card is out also. I bought a use computer from him for $200. I went to get a exterior box to put the hard drive in and I had to go to another computer place. i showed them the computer I bought and they told me I paid too much for it plus it is just 1/20 of what the computer that is broken. I ask them to check out the computer that is broken and they checking it out now. They called and say it was up and running but I asked them to test it and they will test it for $40. lol can not trust no ones these days.
I still on this slow computer and will do my best to get to your images

oh next week i got a ton of things to do to try to sell my house. lot of money also going into it to fix it up.

Jock, You did a truly marvelous job on this painting of the Mayan lady preaching the gospel of Jesus. I was very moved by your painting as well as your attention to detail. It was such a blessing to read the story behind the painting and the message it contains. You really do have to watch people when it comes to buying computers, especially used ones. I hope they can get your old computer fixed up so you can be back to normal soon my friend.

Good mixture of the colors... are you right handed? do you work from left to right? just curious because the right eye appears to be higher than the left eye, however, her left nostril seems higher then her right... a lot of times it's because the artist doesn't follow a simple rule... If you are right handed paint from left to right - that way you can line up the image you're painting with the image you painted - strangely enough, you'd be surprised at how many artists don't know this simple rule.
