Took these pics through the french glass doors, he was only a few feet away.

Cool shots of this little critter. They can cause enourmous damage in the attic, including chewing on wiring and creating a fire hazard. They look cute but are a serious pest once in the house.

Very cool photos! good luck on the catching - however, you could direct it to the road to see if crosses it successfully

Opossums are gnarly critters, cool photos.

if you have possums coming because of the trash it makes me wonder if you have bears.... if you have bears - puting your trash outside is a NO NO. get a better container, throw bread out for the possum - it's hungry. find a soft spot in your heart for this little guy - fix your vent on the house to the attic so he can't get in there.... if he can get in there - it's your fault, fix it. buy a super soaker and fill it up with something that stinks, spray him with it - lol just be nice... you might come back as a possum in your next life - lol cool pictures.

oh man! look at the size of those claws! meant for digging an possibly ripping into rotted logs. of course now that they've discovered the wonderful take-out service we humans provide them, digging and ripping into rotted logs is for them country yokel possums that haven't yet found that awesome buffet we give 'em, LOL awesome photo op you got! poor critter. wonder if it knows life is short for it.

I have been wondering what your possums look like over there, have been told they are rat like, & I would agree. The ones in Australia are so different, Great capture.

This lil joke my coach said to our 7th grade flag football team came to mind.... So the Coach Says to the Team… Listen Up Men… I’m Changing Our Team Name to “The Possums” One of the Players Says… “What… Why Coach?” ..... Because We Play Dead at Home and Get Killed on the Road!

A wonderful possum collage and I am surprised that the flash or house light didn't scare it away!
