Lovely to see these 'hanging' around and some great textures to go with them.

Lots of rusty texture on those old tools, they're lovely against the bricks. Excellent capture!

Cool capture Kim. I'm curious what the middle item is. It looks like a hook for lifting or hanging something. At first I thought it might be for lifting the plates that cover where you put wood in for the wood stove, but it isn't quite the right shape for that.

Wonderful capture of this retro trio. The rusty textures look awesome against the wall. Although our grandchildren think I came from the stone age( Hehehe) not sure what the center one was used for. Can you confirm this one Kim? Thanks for sharing.

It's an adjustable hanger for hanging pots above the fire in the fireplace this kitchen had to cook in. :) I know because my Aunt and Uncle had one. They lived out in the country in Up State New York and when the power would go out, they cooked in their big fireplace in their livingroom. :)

superb composition. I do not know how they did in olden times, but from seeing tv shows where they used dirt to "clean" the utensils, it makes one wonder just how clean they were
