Exceptional image! I found out the same thing with Bryce when I tried to put together a city scene 450MB. When I saved it "Bryce.exe axiom.dll" said goodbye! Or the classic "Out of Memory". It does have it's limitations. It's fun to experiment with it. Opening the scene in a new instance helps sometimes.

I agree, that is impressive, and yeah, the limitations that dog Bryce are the only real thing holding it back, alas. Nice work!

Outra cena maravilhosamente bem feita. E de amador, meu caro amigo, você já não é há muito tempo, na minha opinião. Você é fera. :)O Bryce é que não nos dá espaço a criatividade. Abraços!

Yes....Bryce is know (at least from my experience) to not play well with others when loaded down with certain objects...Like to throw hissy fits every now and then...Do like your scene creativity here though!....Very Nice!

very nice work ,the trees need adjustment certain of them are out of proportion, maybe it is out of your control, basicly if they don,t look good i would not use them

Magnificent Bryce artwork!!!

I agree with bluart about the proportion of those trees; however, this doesn't have to be Earth and it may be alien vegetation, rather than earthly flora. They could be scaled down but I don't think anyone would care for the effect. Overall, I like the POV and the way you have arranged your various elements of the picture. Using Bryce is a bit like trying to write a Japanese poetry form called the haiku. Or even a sonnet. It has its own rules and limits and a lot of the mastery and creativity comes from harnessing those things to our own purposes. In this case, I think you've done quite well.

I am not sure why but I have done pictures in Bryce from B5 to B7 with sizes between 550 MB to 935 MB(Hill Country) and never crashed Bryce. I was told that Bryce couldn't handle such large files etc. but............... Thmt doesn't mean I haven't crashed it on many occasions but I guess its just the luck of the draw. Plus I always use Large Address Aware with it which really made a difference for me along with a memory manager. Right now I am using a new computer which has 32 gigs ram @1866 mhz, a watercooled AMD 8 core processor @3,6 ghz and I set my page files to custom at 45 GB minimum and maximum on 1.5 TB drive. I use all sorts of tricks to keep it going but thats one of the things that makes Bryce both enjoyable and also the biggest pain in the behind to use:)

Very nice scene, well done! I personally prefer to work with Carrara. I never had problems with large scenes in Carrara. My latest scene file was 2.6 GB big! It took around half an hour to load or to save, but it worked fine!
