We played 'Keeper of the Stars' by Tracy Byrd at our handfasting (wedding) because it fit us so perfectly. We met via a phone call when I needed a ride and someone gave my phone number to him. Our first phone conversation lasted 3 hours! By our first date, five days later, we had chalked up 15-20 hours on the phone. I think we were in love before we laid eyes on each other. Since that first date, we have pretty much been together 24/7 for thirteen years; today is our tenth wedding anniversary. We were both in our forties when we met, but we each knew we'd finally found our soul mate.
The ring is a good representation of my Celtic Knot wedding band, one I modeled several years ago, although I admit you can't see it very well.
