Description
For when some of the higher echelons of the Staff have to stay on Spackopolis,we constructed especially fine living spaces.
Maybe a bit boring,”hey gals why dont you invite the Kokk brothers” Wanky and Panky??muahahahahahah.
A little adventure this morning:
as i walked the dogs,opposite our house is a big tree i came by and there was smoke coming out of the tree,first i thought it was fire and i wanted to call the fire department,but at a closer look i saw someone moving inside the bushes.
I took the dogs home and left it at that,sat on my pc,and started to get nervous,i imagined a hungry homeless family in there or worse.
I said to Ute “i have to go down and have a look”.
I went down and as i approached the tree i saw a stool a couch,various plastic bags and an elder guy sitting in there brushing his teeth,yeah right brushing his teeth.
I said hallo and asked if i could help with a bottle of water or some food.
The guy denied and said he was all right.Then i asked him if a bit of money would help,he shrugged his shoulders but did not denied,so i gave him a few bucks and he said thank you and that was it.
i dont know maybe he wants to live that way,but my heart was bleeding and i had to do something.i just feel better right now.

Dein Erlebnis am heutigen Morgen ist leider kein Einzelfall. Und es wird immer schlimmer werden. Es war schön, großherzig (mir fällt gerade nicht das richtige Wort dazu ein) von Dir, noch einmal zurück zu gehen und zu helfen.

ya got wonder about people like that though.... People that get in trouble with the law seem to be those type of people... Years ago after my Mom Pass and I inherrited $30,000 dollars, I helped so many people and ended up broke and the people I helped had the power to help me when I needed it and they stabbed me in the back.... I am a sensitive person and when that happened it made me cold... I have no problem telling people I'm broke now and can't help them. he didn't say his name was Wank Kokk did he? lol

Those are some great living spaces...The next time I'm there, me and the girls will have to check this place out! But knowing my luck, they'll send me to the bottoms... That was a good thing you did! But be careful, when people like that hang around, loose stuff start to disappear!

Fantastic looking image Rene, you did great. My heart also goes out to the man in the situation you mentioned. Sometimes people get discouraged and almost in a rut that is hard to get out of. Hopefully someone can show him there is hope, and a better way to live. Bless you for taking time to do what you could for him, a lot of other people would have chosen to act like nothing was going on.

Once in awhile, your heart does go out to those less fortunate than yourself. A few days ago, I was at a fast food joint and noticed a guy in a wheelchair as I went in. I walked by him and had my meal and noticed several other people pass him as well, trying to avoid his face. As I left, he looked up at me and asked if I had some spare change. I gave him a couple bucks. I know it wasn't much, but as you say, Rene, my heart felt a little warmer after the exchange.

Cool apartment and characters! Sometimes people that are destitute still have a strong sense of pride. And can aggressively deny and form of charity. It sounds like you handled the situation well. A few bucks can go a long way sometimes.
