Description

On the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month... we remember the fallen, those who gave their lives for freedom, for their families,for their friends, those they loved, and those they had never met... a time of honour, of decency, tears and silence... so few the fight wars love war.... so few leaders who rattle sabres, carry the sabres... so few that have lost, forget.... the flower of youth taken, the hope for the future, unflourished. flags at half-staff, cenotaphs, wreaths, solemn silence... the poppies.... row on row.... we remember not because we have to... but because we want to... the 11th hour, the 11th day, the 11th month...

It's the same here in OZ, we have memorials in most cities for the fallen - but all our wreaths will mainly show red poppies ... a nice tribute, Colin BB
