Description
Love the little fins between the jumbled pieces.
Headed to Yosemite today, hoping there is still some snow from the other day. A great week to all!

Great find and capture and the expansive distances awe inspiring. Does this happen when the erosion narrows in a lower strata and causes the eventual collapse of the heavier upper part by gravity?

Fine shot!

Almost unbelievable, how this can stay upright in this position? as long as nobody tries to climb it, imagine that? or rather not! beautiful structure - like a sculpture ... BB

What I love most about this is how it looks as if someone stacked these sandy plates into a pile and simply left them there--just beautiful--a pure natural wonder.
