Nice job! I'm an experimentalist when it comes to lights because I have no clue how to really use them. I move one and render. If it helps, save; if not undo and move a different one. Add a spot or a point and play with intensity, scale or color. Make one change at a time so you can have some control (or feel like you do!).

Hi Foo-Dog, as an apprentice than I am, just put an eye on http://poser.smithmicro.com/tutorials/lighting_basics.html or follow "acrionx" (who commented here) to get on his site : there is a very interisting tuto and software to improve lighting ! www.acrionx.com By the way, light on 3D has nothing to do with photography : I mean you can cheat with other points of lighting as grandmaT told you. Next, you can find skydomes (with lights included) on www.sharecg.com/ I saw the light, I saw the light, no more darkness, no more night... :-) Enjoy. Cheers.
