Description

Heading for the launch pad at the NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre in Florida is the fully developed and tested “Sprinter” booster. Developed from a combination of the old Space Shuttle Solid Rocket Booster and the Ares 1 Booster technology Sprinter’s will be used as a low cost means of lifting a much smaller Cocoon Cargo Pod into Earth orbit when NASA only needs to send smaller payloads into space.
