Description

Ok..... Not done but here is some of what my hard work painting, rearranging, and cleaning has achieved. I guess the ceiling will be done....later. I painted the cabinets yellow, the walls a tan. Bought the pinkish looking table to use as a counter. Moved the pot rack over to corner. Now Bill sits at table and looks out window while waiting on the coffee pot. :) :) Seems to be working out pretty good. Took me alot longer than I thought it would. So don't get a wild hair up **** *** and open a can of paint..... You may find a bunch of worms in there........... Like I did... LOL :)

Your work is paying off in spades Cheryl. Looks great. I especially like the hanging pots. Glenda wont let me put one of those up or I would.

I always do the ceiling first since cutting in the ceiling almost always causes problems with the walls. when people asked me(back when I was working) for a price for to paint the walls, I would tell them my price includes the ceiling. I told them if you put fresh paint on the walls then the ceiling is going to look bad I will be replacing my counter-tops probably next week I like your copper skillets hanging

Yeah, it's hard hard work, getting everything moved so you can clean and then paint, and then moving things around to make everything work again. I usually do the ceiling first, too, but you do what you can when you can. When there's no help, and no ladders long enough to work comfortably, then do one thing at a time until you have what you need to finish even the ceiling. Looking good Cheryl! I agree with everyone, that pot hanger is really cool.

Love it - Looks like my grandma's kitchen in 1952 - Does IKEA exist in the US? http://www.ikea.com/es/es/catalog/categories/departments/kitchen/ great-artwork-tinkerbell.gif

Very impressive outcome Cheryl. Wow everything has a place AND everything is in place. Lol Jim.. Our kitchen is narrow and short with cupboards on each side. No room for a fridge,it sits in the backroom. Very old home, built in the 30's I believe. He just doesn't get it.Hehehehe. Thanks for sharing.

You really have been busy Cheryl and I like your colour scheme. We have some painting to do too but we think we will have to get someone in to do the ceiling as we aren't too good up a ladder these days. I love your black stove, I have a glasstopped one too but it is white, but your black looks much better.

Well dear Cheryl here is a lot to see, and hanging around greatly. I love you have windows in your kitchen. It's a most interesting picture for me, never been in an American kitchen before. So, "hello", here I am, and where is the coffee? :D

Nice results from your project - love the pot rack - it looks so good that I would not worry about the ceiling yet. Worms in the paint can - funny!
