Description
Not so much a serious piece of art as a personal experiment with MB3D and Flood filter.
My first time in MB3D playing around with Hardshadows, Reflections etc. to develop realistic surface textures. Transparency still baffles me. Im going to need a faster computer though! It took forever to render.
With the Flood Filter I wanted to explore moving away from the fixed horizontal horizon. Used multiple Flood layers combined in Photoshop with differing blends, masks and transparency to fill the tunnel ironically but intentionally with clean, clear water.
The Rats were added for fun, and to give some scale.
Sewer Mist and Angel Rays for atmosphere.

Reflections and especially Transparencies in MB3D are very tricky, they work best on smooth surfaces. Transpariencies work Best on d.IFS Shapes Formulas, any Escapetime Formulas Transparencies turn into Marathon Renders because of the Math involved. Cool work with the Flood, so are the Rats, super work Peace
