Description

When we stopped for a sandwich at the University Bar in Bozen/Bolzano, the provincial capital of South Tirol, Flavia and me couldn't believe our eyes. It looked it existed a garage especially for pimps in town. And it even advertised the service openly! I can't say about the garage owner's mischievous purposes, but the bartender had no idea whatsoever of the meaning of the word. Whether the students were also ignorant it's for you to guess... Anyway, I gave the shot a modernist art flavor. Thanks for your kind comments. PS I checked Language just in case.

I just visited the web site. They do sell bicycles. Perhaps a place for streetwalkers with tired feet? Did you see a lot of Cadillacs parked outside? Men with large hats and fur coats? A funny image. Well seen and captured.

Pimp you car, usually means make it all fancy with custom paint etc. at least here in the states. We did have a funny business here, called "Midnight Auto Parts".

Just checked out their website, like Mark. just looking at some of the custom work implies to me that they do some serious modifications to an ordinary bike and really trick (pimp) it out in this case pimp my ride/bike means to take it to the next level of glamour/glitz with special wheels & paint jobs, increasing the value of the bike upwards of ten-fold.
