Description
They are cutting it down. Removing it all. I sincerely hope we will see them plant new bushes there. It seems that blackcurrants only produce good berries untill they reach a certain age, that I dont know about for sure. Maybe around 10 years. Dont remember exactly when they planted these. But it is really sad to see them go. The plants to the left are redcurrants. They wont remove them, I have heard.

We have around 10C and very grey weater. Around noon I saw a glimse of the sun and now it is back to the cloudy weather again.

They will probably give the field a rest from currants for a while and plant something else. Nice shot Helle.

I have never seen a field with blackcurrants. Here are many of them, but the bushes stand always separate. Superb shot, I hope they will plant new bushes.

Aaaaaahh! No! Well, I suppose if it's better for the crop in the long run, they must take them out. But you have made me love your currant field, and I'm sad to see the bushes go! Don't neglect to give us the rest of the story as it unfolds! I feel quite attached, and want to know how this all turns out.
