Description
One last blast of colors ... and then the forest of trees will be bare waiting for snow flakes to silently descend upon them from heaven on high.
This is a shot I took in Japan, where the four seasons can be particularly beautiful (or maybe not so much anymore if you consider that below surface appearances, nature in Japan has been engulfed and polluted by an unseen killer: Fukushima radiation).
Much prettier (and more to my taste) are the Blue Ridge Mountains. Never have I seen--anywhere else--the shades of purple leaves found at altitude in the BRMs.

It is a beautiful place, despite the Fukushima disaster. It is hoped that the nature able to adapt to the problems created by man.
