Hubby, kids and I have called the Jersey Shore home for 36 years, but we'll be moving within the next year to the Gatlinburg, TN area. I've heard from others who did the same and then moved back because they so missed the ocean. Hubby and I are more 'pool' people than ocean and both grew up with farms and/or mountains so it should be an easier transition. Well, we hope, anyway. :)  I recently put my writing career on hold, discovered Poser, and with it, a love of creating digital art.  Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of several incredibly talented artists I didn't let my introduction to Poser overwhelm me (though I nearly did). The world of digital creativity is an awesome place and I'm so glad I found it. I can imagine how worn out your hubby is when that 16 hours is over - man, that's gotta be killer.... God bless those guys (and gals) out there working thier tails off to get everyone's power back on!

Lovely image!! I like the B&W Linda.. Hope all goes well with the insurance and feel sorry for your hubby that's tough on anyone those sort of hours without a break, that's when things can go wrong due to fatigue..

Excellent image, absolutely LOVE the expression on the left. Would be great cropped down as a portrait! Sorry to read about your misfortune Missed the storm myself, I was in the UK (unfortunately dealing with my own private hell), but the crews here in Hogtown were running their butts off too. (Fire AND power). Not even close to as bad as down there though and my heart goes out to all affected. Hope all worked out with insurance... sticky business at the best of times never mind after something like this.
