Description

[UPDATED 11/16/2012] DELETE YOUR BROWSER CACHE IF YOU PREVIOUSLY VIEWED THIS IMAGE! I'm just still exploring IDL, and how to use it, as well as enjoying the warehouse model I built. The warehouse is something I think will be fun to expand on... adding more simple details and functionality. The Camaro GTR is another model I built and have been working on for a long time, making it better and better. this scene uses 5 point lights with no shadows, a single spot light with raytraced shadows, and IDL. the settings for this render was something new I tried, only 6 pixel samples, but 1044 IDL samples... I was amazed at the improvement in render and render time, my concrete maps looks much better and I did not change it at all. I was also interested in using texture maps with Bagginsbill's paint shader, the body was simple to figure out, but the glass took a lot of trial and error ( since I used a transparency map as a mask to leave the camaro banner and frame solid while making the window glass transparent ) I also want to thank everyone that viewed and commented on my last image, it's great to hear that you enjoyed seeing the render and the models I created.

You've done a very good job on the model and rendering. All the materials, especially the reflections look just right. As teecee2107 points out just the headlamp glass needs work but a fine render indeed!
