AT LEAST I'M NOT
VOMITING ANY MOREBIONenslo burst naked from a cloven stone.
He spent half his life teaching himself to paint. If he had it all to do over again he would rather have learned a marketable skill. In recent years he has acquired the even less marketable skills of playing the concertina and quilting.
More recently posted images are from a series of paintings executed over the past few years. All are painted, in accordance with my Maximum Cheapness Ethic, on scrap plywood with a combination of the least expensive liquid acrylic craft paints and latex house paint. They are part of an ongoing effort on my part to remove all use of imagination and creativity from the painting process. Some images may show surface texture as an artifact of the scanning process. All paintings are originally 9" x 12" and are presented here at half the original size, for my convenience.

great art, nenslo. something about the water tower supports; maybe a little to much webbing. but, thats nitpicky, i think. the pic is so nice overall. sunday, just after sunrise; thats exactly, the impression, this render gives. keep on keepin on.

Excellent monorail and allaround work...

In response to inquiries: The monorail, and pretty much everything else, is made with bryce primitives and bump maps made in photoshop. Colors are all added in bryce using the bump maps to alter the ambient, specular, transparency etc. This scene pushed my little old computer to its memory limit and took two hours to render. I agree that the water towers are not optimal - I was using the same mapping as the box girders, wrapped around a cylinder. I am temporarily cured of the urge to do big realistic images. Y gracias a todos!
