great work in bryce anyway, good advice if you want to build a lot of objects use Studio Max, Maya or other 3D programs:)

Bryce can definitely have troubles as the number of objects and/or file sizes get bigger and bigger. Plants can really give it fits, because of the complicated structures. I recall seeing something ages ago that said you can render trees, and then use them as a 2D image placed in your Bryce objects to keep things from getting too complicated. I'm not completely sure of how to do it because I've never tried.

That would be applying the tree render and an alpha mask to a 2D panel and playing with the transparency setting...it does wonders to reduce memory overhead, although you need to render the trees with all light settings etc. identical to blend seamlessly, and you will need a program such as Photoshop to create the mask. Nicely done with the model and textures!

Some fine architectural ideas here. As far as suggestions, it seems that the ambiance settings might not be the same for all components of the structure. In particular, the small extension in the middle of the facing wall seems to have too much contrast compared to the shadows on the rest of the remaining wall.
