Description

Yesterday morning when I got up the frost on the trees was very impressive. This type of frost happens when it turns foggy but is still freezing. The dampness of the fog turns to ice crystals on the trees, powerlines and everything else. In the upper corner I overlayed a macro shot of one of those branchs showing the wonderful tiny ice crystals that make up this sight. I have to head down to the city for the next 2 days for work. I'll try and stay caught up on comments but not sure if there is wifi at the hotel I will be staying at. Jim

Wow what a gorgeous shot of the frosted and snow laden trees and landscape. The macro shot of the twig is a wonderful addition to this awesome view. Excellent camera work Jim! Love and Hugs.

You can almost like a frost when you get this effect, now I said almost. It looks so cold in this excellent capture. Take care driving down to the city in these conditions.

Believe it or not...Even though I know cold is not my friend this time of year I would only wish it would look like this here....Getting really depressing that not so much as one flake of snow has fallen in my yard yet this year and November is almost over...I'm gonna start wishing for one here pretty darn soon...Calling for mid 60's here Thanksgiving Day....unbelievable....(sigh)... You have captured a most wonderful winter scene here Jim....I envy you ...Okay I'll go depress someone else now....rofl.....
