Great shot - has a fairy tale kind of look to it. Reminds me of a half-built bridge that ended in midair back in my college days that we called the "bridge to nowhere" (& no, it wasn't in Alaska)...

How fascinating! what a lovely photo, and it's so easy to imagine all kinds of stories related to this (Although my mind inevitably falls back on Neil Gaiman's excellent "Stardust" which is excellent in both book and movie form for very different reasons) and it really fuels the imagination.
