Description
Hello! I am still among the living. Currently unemployed (Laid off), since July 3rd .. and trying like heck to make the best of it! It was really unsettling the first few months, but I think Photoshop and Painter saved me! Lately I've been Painting up a storm, and I have to admit, it's done wonders for my soul. Wish I could do this 24/7. Eventually though I'll have to start looking for work; which I plan on doing the first of the year.
This is a photo painting that I did today. It started out as a pretty boring picture I had taken, and decided to see what I could do with it in my Painter program.

Very lovely work indeed; doesn't it seem a shame that we have to find "work" when there are so many other things we should be doing? Why must we "earn a living"? I would think adding beauty to the world is worth a living, at the very least!
