Description

a while back richard a.k.a. richardphotos was showing a capture and talking about his pear-less tree! well just across the street from me is this pear tree with almost over ripe pears in it and falling to the ground! also a place for a pack of deer to stop and eat, usually at night but sometimes during broad daylight! so i dedicate this one to him! i took these shots using my new nikon D50, love this camera!:) nikon D50, photo collage and gimp for resizing to get under the 512kb limit

My back yard has Plum tree's and if I was a hunter(which I'm not)all I'd have to do is sit on my back porch and wait for the deer to step into the clearing..My sons are hunters but know that "Dads" dears are off limits!...(smiles).......

Really haven't had a fresh one in years,we can't seem to get them in our part of the world. They are always rock hard and too green to burn. Our plum and apple trees produced wonderful fruit this year though. What a beautiful collage and wonderful dedication.

thanks for the dedi and congrats on the new Nikon. I use to like eating pears but for some reason they do not like me. my Bradford pearless tree is meant not to have pears as it is an ornamental. does not have a big root system. I bet the butterflies frequent this pear tree. there is one on a near street and when the pears falls they are loaded with bees and butterflies very sharp captures

Glad you're having fun with the camera. I still don't know a tenth of the capabilities of my camera, and I've had it for years....good luck learning it!
