Description

Welcome to Station 5. I 'm always trying to come up with new projects to do in Bryce, a lot of people ask why don't you do some thing about 911 and the World Trade Center, And well I just do not think that is a subject to be taken lightly so I pretty much leave the subject alone up till now. I did not really plan on doing a towering inferno scene I was just planing on doing a fire station scene and well... one thing led to another I had to add a couple of buildings for the background then a couple more and then it needed some thing else. So what could be better with a fire station than a big fire, lol. And just to set every ones mind at ease it was a little old lady who forgot to take the Thanks Giving turkey out of the oven (no planes were used to create the fire, lol) As always I thank you for stopping by and checking out my work. I sincerely apologize if any one is upset with this piece.

Wonderful details! It must take you a while to create a scene like this, great job!

An amazing scene with all these great models and superb details. That will be one burnt turkey that the little old lady forgot to turn down. Fantastic work for a very realistic scene.

I find this to be most excellently extensive in details and the scene layout is practical and believable...I have a few sitting in a folder of various weather related incidents(mostly was learning at the time special effects/fire) and then the horrible fires that hit Colorado this past summer and decided to wait until later so it didn't seem incentive and let some time pass so I understand your concerns....my point here is that you mentioned 911 and was worried about it bothering other that they may think to say something...Well I believe one should not be restricted as an artist because of event's that have happened in life and just about anything one as an artist creates and shares is going to effect someone with something that reminds them of a time and place in time and will have there own memories about it whether good or bad.....So yes....some may see this image as a reminder of an actual event (either something that made the news or a personal event) that only they are reminded of personally but i believe is not what i 1st thought when viewing your latest Bryce creation....So if this was any relief then I know you understood what I meant then...(smiles)... And I concur with Mike......Poor Turkey.....lol....
