We have been spared this where I live, although lower ground is affected. A most interesting set of goings on.

The driver is indeed lucky if the flow of water was much stronger the vehicle could have been swept away. Superb capture my friend. God Bless.

At first I was a little sorry for the driver, but after I read that he is not even got out to help, I think, what an idiot. Superb shot.

This confirms my previous observation in the last upload. The water is not too deep, he just drove too fast. I do understand why he didn't get out though, because his door bottom might well be low enough to flood his floor. But that still wouldn't really destroy anything. Just the same, the driver of an expensive car does not attract much sympathy here eh? I see this scenario quite often in Edmonton in the Spring along the freeways wherever there is a dip down due to an overpass, and a good hard rain.

He's lucky there was someone to help him. Out on the country roads round here you could be stuck all day waiting for someone to pass - and in a lot of areas your mobile doesn't pick up a signal ...
