Description

Thank you my sweet for the "go to list" of things to do and see here in Fort Bragg. Today will be doing the Skunk Train. :) Noyo Harbor is tucked into the forested hills at the south end of Fort Bragg. You may remember seeing Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell sailing out of the harbor at the end of the movie Overboard. Scenes in several movies have been filmed in the harbor including: The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming Humanoids from the Deep Dying Young Starring Campbell Scott and Julia Roberts Personally, this reminded me of one of my favorite movies "The African Queen" I can just see Humphrey milling about while Mz Hepbrun is poised in the back with her book.

This harbor reminds me of my "home" on the Gulf Coast. They don't look the same but the feel is identical. This is so fabulous and thank you for bringing me a bit of the harbor on this fine Sunday morning. :-)
