Hi. :))))) How are you tonite? I am doing most sweetly after the holiday. :)))))) During the holiday I had a most sweet and extra special time. :)))))) Our daughter Alecia, her husband David, and our grand daughter Miss Sophie came over for Thanksgiving. :)))))) When I reached my hands out for her she reached for me. :)))) Oh my goodness what a touching moment. :)))) After a while we all then went and sat in the den. As Poppy sat holding Sophie on his lap a commerical came on which had great music so I started dancing then Poppy was helping Sophie dance. :))))) Alecia then walked over to Sophie and held her hands and they both started dancing. :))))) It was such a sweet and fun moment to watch my daughter dance with her daughter. :)))) I danced with Alecia and Cody as often as possible when they were very young. :))))) My daughter to this day loves to dance, but Cody not so much. LOL!! My heart smiled all day on Thanksgiving. :)))))) Sophie watched every move I made. :))))) Her Poppy feed her squash as the rest of us ate. :)))))) Oh my goodness all that she can do now. :))))) I get taken back in time each time I see her. :)))) I think that is one reason being a grand-parent is so extra special. :))))) As I was holding Sophie she put my pointer finger in her mouth and each time she would bite down with her gums I would act like it hurt and she thought that was so funny. :)))))))) She smiled the whole time she was here. :))))) This was the sweetest Thanksgiving ever. :)))))))) Miss Sophie Nana loves you so very much. :))))))) Being a parent is most wonderful, but being a grand-parent is so extra sweet. :))))) I better finish with Thankgiving. LOL!!! After we all ate and sat around and talked a moment my husband then began washing the dishes. I rinsed the dishes, put them away, and cleaned the counters. :)))) Alecia, David, and Miss Sophie sat out in the den and fell asleep. :)))))) Cody shot a couple of images of them. :)))) After the dishes were all done then it was time for some of my husbands "Lemon Pucker" Cake . :)))))) Oh my goodness it was so very delicious. :)))))) I told my husband that his Lemon cake was my most favorite cake of all. :))))) Miss Sophie loved the frosting. :))))))) Sophie then let her mom know she was sleepy. So Alecia took Sophie to my bedroom and laid down on the bed with her. :)))) I also went. :))) Where I have christmas lights on my dresser mirror Sophie laid and looked at them for a few moments. She then curled up to her momma and fell asleep. :))))) That was a touching moment. :))))) As Sophie slept Alecia and I then joined the guys in the den. :))))) They were looking at the Black Friday sales. :))) None of us went. :))) Shortly afterwards Alecia woke Sophie so they could go home. :)))) Sophie woke with a smile. :)))) I thank the lord above for such a loving Thanksgiving. :)))) I enjoyed every second. :)))))) How have you been? I am already counting down the days to Spring. LOL!!!!
