Description

The title was inspired by the song, 'ascent', by Peter Kater. It was playing on the radio when I was trying to come up with a name for a piece that was SUPPOSED to be simple. Glad I changed direction in mid-stream! No mirrors were used. Peter Kater is an Grammy nominated musician and composer. That one song left me hungry for more of his work!! www.peterkater.com

Great stuff, I love it when one piece of software can mimic another. This reminds me of Mandelbulb work. A nice bright palette also works very well. Very nice.

This is Bryce, wow. Well you could say that the "o's" have it. A joyful color and composition (and looks like alot of TLC). Thanks for the view.

I see so many things here that make me wish I had the patience to attempt...I can clearly see you did "not" use mirrors as I would think being an avid Brycer myself I noticed you hadn't right off because the first thing I focused on was the "seam" at the horizon/center and am guessing you did this by multi replicating each row of rings and then placed them all together into this most cool pattern.... Though I could be wrong on my assumption...If by chance this is a form of multi replicating I'd sure could use a few pointers as I'm not yet that good with multi anything.....lol.. This is one beautiful colorful work of Bryce!
