This poem is written as kind of an apology to my ex (from 5 years ago now). I've never had much drive for myself because I'm always content no matter what I do. But, if I am doing something for someone else I will put my all into it, and I don't feel like I gave her that in our relationship. I didn't put everything I had into constantly making myself a better person for her. So, I know she'll probably never read this and she's married now so I'm happy for her, but I should have been a better boyfriend so here's my apology. This is my shortest poem yet, and I was kind of worried about that, but hopefully it speaks loud and clear enough that length is not an issue. I've never been one for speaking very much; just making what I say count, and I think I did that here.
