My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Nice shot and good to see the obligatory cup there too!

This is very nice and the work is being done right! I recently went through an old house I once owned that was under foreclosure in the midst of a renovation done by total idiots and it is a total disaster in my opinion, unlivable, unsafe and a sad end to a place I did so much work on.

I think perhaps you should remove your implants. I think the aliens have found you. Love how eerie and strangely beautiful this is.

The highlight fading to darker colors is beautiful. And the various textures and patterns are a real plus. In zoom you can see that this is quality work. Your brother is a fine carpenter.

Yep. The light caught my attention too...is it a skylight in progress? It flows nicely and I love that it seem to come from two sources. It's a great accent to the gold tones. Don't you just love it when elements in a photo play so well together? Zoom is a must! I love the wood textures, and since my brain was off doing that thing it does on occasion (communing with Ursula K. LeGuin, I think) I noticed the paper cup and the long thingie near it. I thought it was a pipe of sorts, the kind that only woodsmiths are allowed to smoke, because the tobacco is actually infused with hickory, which is, of course, sacred in some planes of reality, but only when smoked. This is great.

That lighting really is beautiful, Tara. The warmth of the light in the would just goes together so well - another excellent capture my dear friend!
