Description

The phoenix fractal has been one of my favorites back to the times of Fractint (early 1990's). Here is a modern version, which is coded as a PhoenixBulb. In this example the PhoenixBulb is sliced to give some interesting effects. Produced entirely with Ultrafractal.

Somehow this feels very Dali-esque. Dali is my favorite modern artist!
