Description

Apologize for the short commentary yesterday. Felt my skin becoming a bit thin as I posted, and not wanting to start the day that way, I just stopped typing. No worries, my dragon skin has molted and once again is taut and scaly. Always looking for that certain POV. I was tempted to walk out on one of these fallen giants. Not wanting to give the kids any ideas, it was better to pass on such. ;~) It is a stitched image reduced some 60%, for those wanting to see details, a full view is best. To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!! Thank you all that viewed my last image below. thumb_2389589.jpg

Very beautiful image! It's a wonderful capture of the amazing power of water. Huge trees tossed like sticks across the landscape. It's interesting to see the little saplings that have survived with all the big trunks being swept up and tossed about around them. There is a great feeling of motion and of time stood still, of a great uprooting and settling. One plank seems caught in the act of going over the waterfall (perhaps it is hung on something) while moss covers some of the fallen giants. I like the bit of moss at the bottom left. It looks like a frog about to jump into the water. Excellent capture and stitching. Beautiful composition and colors, and many details to study.
