'Again, following on from my pun intended series of 1996 at the - Perc Tucker Regional Gallery - in Townsville, Alu the Boxfish is a large-scale aluminium sculpture that plays at the levels of visual, physical and mental interaction.
A touch of humour always helps to communicate, even in the world of sculpture.'

Ostraciidae is a family of squared, bony fish belonging to the order Tetraodontiformes, closely related to the pufferfishes and filefishes. Fish in the family are known variously as boxfishes, cofferfishes, cowfishes and trunkfishes. Wikipedia
