I recently had a chance to visit Galveston with a member here who is also my best friend, and we had such a wonderful time I had to share the view from our hotel. Michael thank you for such a wonderful time and all the fun memories we made while we traveled down to Texas and then to New Orleans and our trip back to Tennessee. He drove up to Tennessee and picked me up and we than drove down to Texas with a stop over in Chattanooga, then on to Galveston where we stayed a few days and I had the chance to meet his mom and daughter and her fiance, and see his son again. Michael took me on a tour of NASA and I got a little bit of a behind the scene look at his work and office, including the track where the astronauts do their running, I thought that was very interesting. Than we headed east and did a couple days of worth of walking tours, and tasted a little of the local cuisine including a couple of Hand Grenade cocktails on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, I have the pictures to prove it. Beware Michael haha, then it was back to Tennessee and my time to take Michael around and we visited a Mill and a few other places and spent a few days out taking photos of the area. Thanks again for such a fun time and I will cherish it forever.

Michael, is that an announcement? :-) Yup, having grown up just on the mainland from Galveston, having children born on the island (they call them BOI and that holds a higher social position down there) and seeing the Island change (but still remain the same) after hurricanes and tropical storms since the early '60s, I can say...nice shot.:-)
