Looking good. Consider using a distribution shader to limit your dunes altitude so that you could give the mountains a different color.

Agree with choronr. The mountains should have a different surface (or are the mountains supposed to be - very huge - dunes?). But besides that it's a nice image.

Sumptuous sandy desert. Base Colours for rock, then slope constraint on your sand Surface Layer to have the rock showing through on the steeper parts as a suggestion to further enhance your beautiful desert scene.
