Description
The day before the solar eclipse Kalli and I took an hour to scout out the area of 4 Mile Beach behind our hotel. It was a perfect day, warm, but with a nice breeze to keep us cool. I, of course, had my mighty little Ixus along. We found the beach covered in many areas by small balls of sand arranged around an equally small hole in the sand. When I showed my friend Jenny this picture, she sent me a link to YouTube( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqjTzFWq9xo ) showing the tiny sandcrabs that created the small balls of sand.

A really interesting photo, which is also a beautiful abstract. I have seen casts by other marine creatures (worms ECT.) but these are fabulous. Excellent stuff.
