Description

Gaelin, the dragon rider and Bithor, his dragon and best friend, have returned to Gaelin's home after fighting in a yearlong war supporting a neighboring kingdom from invading goblins, only to find his family gone and their house in ruins. From the air, they could see the vast area of devastaton to the territory surrounding Gaelin's home. It appears to have been done by ogres. The ground was burned but has begun to grow over with fresh vegetation so the attack must've taken place shortly after they left for the war. Gaelin is devasted by this discovery and is overcome with emotion and anger that while he was away, he couldn't protect his loved ones! Bithor attempts to comfort his friend with words and vows he will help Gaelin find whoever caused this disaster and make them pay dearly for it! In his anger, Bithor unconsciously starts exhaling smoke, a precursor to flames. He quickly catches himself before he accidently torches his friend! For now, they must find what happened in their absence and see if any of Gaelin's family survived! H4 and Milennium Dragon characters. Rendered in Poser 6. Post work in Photoshop 7. The two characters are superb, excellent scene! Beautiful story too, I love when the dragon must retain the smoke not to burn his friend, lol!
