Description

J-Wildfire v0.57/PS7 Well, after lastnight's post of "Java WildFlower" which was done in a version I have had for a while I went and downloaded the latest version of the program. Just like Apo7x14 vs 7x15, the earlier version works better for me, it's a RAM thing I ain't got Enough, my Xmas to myself I think, at least a Gig. Also the Preset Render settings, don't like them, someone elses choices not mine. It would be nice to see the way memory is allocated for the Render Like in Apo, your just guessing with J-W. Not sure about the HDR stuff, I rendered this about 8 times with different settings and IMHO those using HDR were the worst, the best were higher Oversample and no HDR....Xperimentation continues. Thanks for the l@@k Voting for the Fractals Challenge for November closes tonight at Midnight Insects

And again a lovely outcome of your wildfire, Len. I like the glow on the beige and brown petals. I have to learn to work with that program too......once ;-)

Image is excellent, I may give it a try,but not sure. My new PC has the power but I am not that good with high tech stuff- I am from the old school, when fractals were unheard of. I often wonder what my old paintng prof would think? Excellence, Len!!!!!

Also a good one with nice coloring, and yes render-settings are also for me difficult to understand.

Well I certainly know who I'll come to when needing an evaluation of any one certain program(if you own it or have it) before jumping with both feet into something new....Sounds like a miserable headache but seems you've got a grasp on it somewhat as the results here are different but in a cool way!
