Description

I like to make pictures as diary entrees from time to time and the last few I missed - the Colorado fires we had this year were the worst in our states history - I didn't get around to making an upload. The Olympics, which I was really into Volleyball, didn't do an upload. But this, this Election I had to make a post. I've never Voted, didn't really think it'd count, but this time around, there was a guy running for office (Mitt Romney) and every time I got on the net, or turned the TV on, this guy was giving me red flags.... He called China Cheaters in his ads for close to two months... He said Russia was our greatest foe... He wanted to stop fundings to PBS and anyone that has a kid knows how GREAT Sesame Street is... He wanted to do away with plan parent hood - that's taking a woman's rights away - plus, how many Dr.s are gonna be out of work? how many unwanted babies brought into the world? He wanted to drill oil everywhere - instead of moving away from gas driven cars... the list goes on..... He basically had me scared we'd have a war and it would be in our own backyard because of his mouth... so, I had to Vote - for Obama. I like how Colorado got Romney to concede. A month ago, Election Day Nov. 6th, Tuesday, I heard If Obama won Ohio, he'd win it. My Wife just got home, and 15 minutes later I'm hearing as I'm making dinner that Obama won Ohio... very calm by the Annoucers... I told my Wife that's it, Obama won... Romney would not concede... shortly after that, Colorado voted for Obama, my home state, Romney then conceded... and then the funniest thing I heard... Florida was going to call it a night and finish counting the votes the next day - Florida always has to be a story in the Vote process - lol... so, when you look at the Map, you'll see Florida was still white, it did end up turning blue - they Voted for Obama. All the people in the picture had something to do with the run for president - yes, even Big Bird - "Nobody mess's with Big Bird, noboday" lol All picturs were found on the internet and painted over. body's of other images were mixed and matched with heads. the Boxer's bodies are m4. This is to mark a historical event and is not meant for sell or reproduction. Thanks for your visit, I hope you enjoyed this.

It's always nice to see Elmo happy. I was so relieved this election and very happy that Florida's count didn't matter. I live in Texas and have never voted for a Republican (except for some local offices) and at my fairly advanced age and the Republican party's fairly advanced lunacy, am unlikely to do so. So my vote hasn't counted for much in a while, but I voted and was very happy with the outcome. This is marvelous and very well done! The expressions and placement of everyone is hysterical. I like the maniacal quartet around Paul Ryan. The composition, lighting, and attention to details is excellent. I like the posters with Romney's done in in the style of Obama's 'HOPE' poster.
