Description

I took this photo earlier in the fall. Me and the doggie were out walking, in the distance we could hear someone fire a rifle. Suddenly this deer jumped out in front of us. Stopped for a second or two and then continued to run. I like to think he got away :) I know that it is a bit blurry because it all happened so fast, but i really like it. Thanks for viewing. It looks best when zoomed.

Wonderful shot and I am glad he got away. I am also you or your dog were not in the idiots line of fire. Sounds like an illegal shot if you were that close.

Lovely shot, it has a 'soft' look and I too hope the deer got away unscathed.

Oh how gorgeous this shot is! It has a painted quality, a soft dreamy effect, almost a fairy tale, ephemeral feel to it. You probably couldn't have done if you set out to it on purpose! It's magnificent! I too am on the side of the folk who hope she got away, thinking it's a doe, no antlers.
