Sorry I have been off the grid. Been busy with remodeling the house and job hunting after I got laid off twice within a month. Dog on the right is Jagermeister (my kid the German Shorthaired Pointer) and on the left is Pete, our newest rescue (he's an English Pointer rescued from the Animal Shelter in Stockton, CA). Pete is now at a healthy 53 pounds (~40 when we got him), is learning how to socialize with the rest of the crew, learning how to play--LOVES tennis balls (we're working on "drop"--for now, he finds it fun to have me grab him and take the ball away before he darts off looking for me to throw it). I came upstairs and they both ran to meet me at the top of the stairs and sat like this without me saying anything. Managed to get a pic with the camera phone before they both took off.
