Lucinda, this is a wonderful dedication for your friend. What a clever idea you had, and a magnificent job you did in bringing it to life. It's almost as if the plants are looking in to see what is going on. Or maybe they were posing just for you and your camera ;) In these modern times who's to say that a plant can't want attention too

What a lovely image for Anaber. Research has shown that plants will grow toward classical music. What were you playing?

Lucinda:)) thank you very much for your gift :) I sat and looked for several times and your image has a deep meaning to me:))I feel your image as a wonderful dream coming inside out and v/versa. Here, the DREAM commands the reality...and the real leafs coming to the inside of the window, will make the dream come true:))!!!! Windows to me, are a great challenging...yet, a channeling between two different worlds: one reality so touchable and the "reality" of the dreams, day-to-day, living inside us... Your image put it all, before my nose, clearly!!! showing that if the dream is possible, also will be possible make it reality:) Your image brings music and brings life from outside to the inside, through the window, with strenght and hope, with this leafs of the ivy, because i think that ivy grows and grows, without much human intervention....but needs,YES,of the intervention of nature, and her life,i think, comes mainly, from its own "hands"...and all THIS, it is painted on the glass of this window, bringing music from the nature:) this window that you offered me, shows, what sometimes, we, ourselves, are not able to see... And the goldenĀ“ leaf painted among all the greens it is very, very significant in the scene:)!! Thank you Lucinda so much:))) NO WORDS for this image!! No words for you too:)

My first thought is that, in just a moment, a kitty is going to spring in through this window after his morning prowl. Of coarse, the cat is not the only living thing that wants to come in. It looks like the foliage is also intent upon invading this home. Day of the Triffids anyone? I feel the urge to open the window more fully and survey the environment beyond the frosted glass. It must be a very green place. I think I can hear the birds chirping as I look. Lovely glass too, one does not see cut and frosted windows these days. I guess they were popular for washrooms on the main floor of a home or perhaps a cottage. More expensive too so used sparingly. Not so common in new homes today.

Something so simple, as some Ivy being nosey and wanting to explore, the - In's and Outs! - and can make such an entrance, there are no boundaries ;) ... what a gorgeous image and lovely find and observation, Lucinda plus a fine dedi for your friend, BB

I love the way the leaves reach in ... such a lovely image! I have a fondness for things that are dark and light with a single color (preferably green) and this jumps off the page and into my heart. What a beautiful piece!

Such an amazing beautiful and special photo and dedication, dear Lucinda. That green color and the textures on the window, makes all here in a way 'unreal', if you know what I mean. It's like a great painting to me.

This is simply amazing, quite marvelously sensitive, and supremely beautiful. As I seem to have fallen off the face of the earth (new jobs are odd!) I have a lot of catching up to do in so many ways! I simply had to comment on this, simply because it's quite marvelous. I've been reading a lot of Ursula K. LeGuin (no surprise there) recently, and I've been thinking a lot of her story collection: "Changing Planes" and this makes me think of that nicely wonderful collection of stories involving other cultures. This looks like something she'd describe in some librarian's house, or maybe in the house of a dyspeptic baker: given by the baker, with dyspepsia, to his wife (who likes Wisteria) for no reason other than he likes to hear her humming wisteria songs to herself, when she looks at it. This is that kind of image, and that's only ONE of the reasons why I like it so much. This is superb, and a perfect birthday dedication!
