The Abomination in the Flesh.
For those of you who have speculated about the nature of the Null Field the Dalek Surgeon was using last week, I offer the following thoughts. The Null Field is not an anaesthetic per se. The Dalek Surgeon was using the Null Field to stabilise the Supreme's casing at the quantum level. The Supreme had taken a blast of psionic energy, which has every schoolboy (or girl) knows is going to upset the Dark Matter Core at the centre of the Mark 6 Travel Machines Power unit.
