Saint Nicolas est en voyage De sa clochette j'entends le son Tonton tontaine tonton Et, sous le poids de ses bagages, On dit que fléchit son ânon Tonton tontaine tonton. Quand il commence sa tournée Et qu'il entre dans nos maisons Tonton tontaine tonton. Nous plaçons dans la cheminée Nos souliers ,sabots et chaussons Tonton tontaine tonton. Saint Nicolas,nous sommes sages Et nous aimons bien les bonbons Tonton tontain tonton . Apportez-en selon l'usage Et toujours nous vous aimerons Tonton tontaine tonton I met Saint Nicholas two days ago. He is the favorite character of the children in my country because he brings sweets and chocolates to all the pupils. He usually comes in schools on December 6th, day when he is celebrated in Lorraine. Pupils usually sing a song or two to thank him for his gifts. Of course, they all say they were very nice all year long :-) I put the lyrics of a traditionnal song for Saint Nicholas above. "Ils étaient trois petits enfants qui s'en allaient glaner aux champs..." Je ne suis pas né à un endroit où on fêtait Saint-Nicolas, mais je connais cette chanson et cette légende! Tu as rencontré un superbe Saint-Nicolas, belle capture!

Ah ! les souvenirs d'enfance qui, grâce à toi, remontent à la surface...et je me surprends à chanter (le temps se gâte déjà !). Superbe photo, lumineuse, piquée...mais je suis certain qu'une barbe pareille, ça doit chatouiller le nez !!!
