Image taken from the car as we were leaving the town of Walvis Bay to Swakopmund on the Namibian Coast. The dunes can be seen in the background. This is the most amazing piece of road with high sand dunes on one side and the ocean on the other side. I miss Namibia....

very beautiful landscape and totally unique. I past a highway in Northern Nevada where one side was huge dunes while the other side had snow and mountains

WOAH! Those are dunes? I thought they were those mountain thingies I keep reading about, but they're dunes?...that's a serious amount of sand! WOW! I really do need to get there! ASAP! I love this view. I had to laugh because when I saw the trees on the left, I immediately thought: "WOW. Those are absolutely huge pineapples. Yeah. Now that I mentioned pineapples, I'm hungry. This is a gorgeous shot though. I love the open feel this has.
