The eleventh artwork in my 2012 Xmas Gift Art Project and the second gift for my grandma (I couldn't decide between the two ideas so I'm created both for her). My original idea was mainly just the shaman but then other elements such as the background buffalo just fell into place to complete the artwork. I decided since the layout of the scene is rather open and simple to fake the depth of field in postwork for this artwork (and to give my new processor a rest after rendering Spot on the Tracks). I enhanced the colors of the piece by using a free Photoshop action and then did my usual tricks to enhance the image. In the end, not too much postwork was required by this artwork.
