Study + practice ... and "work harder"!
This post covers at least 3 of my favorite passions when it comes to digital art and I can do "free work" :) ... portraits, b/w, lowkey ... and some more as well :)
Think, B/W and lowkey are most difficult disciplines, thus I do not post this kind of images very often, and I confess: still much space for improvement for me as well.
My "Focus" in digital art has changed and my current work keeps me more and more busy. So my time for doing "free" art work for and visiting the galleries might become less I fear. Please take my apologies if I will miss the one or other work from you here at RMP. Hope to see better times. This is an amazing community and you guys rock!

B/W always impresses with a strong trend toward surrealism or realism and it communicates rather than on its appealing visual presentation. More than colorful that is often an eye-catching. Absolutely beautiful B&W work, my friend! As a photographer, I love a good B&W image - portraits in B&W are somewhat an aquired skill, and you have definitely done well with this one! I really need to play a bit more with B&W..... I can definitely relate on the RL work - hope they give you a break every now and then!
