Born and raised in Oregon's beautiful Willamette Valley, I've been artistic, drawing and painting from an early age.
I became serious about photography in the mid 80's, and have won awards internationally. I am an incurable romantic and also love fantasy and sci-fi, as you can see from my photos.
On April 14, 2014, I married my childhood sweetheart. We were both widowed after long happy marriages.

love this.

This is a very special photo. It captures the softness, innocence and imagination play of children. I love it. It raises emotions in my mind and heart. I think of my own children and grandbabies and the sweet joy they have brought into my life. Please excuse me, but my emotions are very close to the surface right now. My wife of 40+ years passed away on Nov. 24th. She and I shared some wonderful loving moments with our family. This photo touches my heart. Thank you for your wonderful work.

It's always best to keep a "bad" shot for a bit before disposing of it. This one is a gorgeous mistake! How terrible if you had thrown it out!
