Description
"Botswana Free Range"
These horses were allowed free range on the Kalahari highway running through this Botswana desert. They were joined by cattle, goats, mules, and donkeys.

Yup - and they are still there. Drove past some donkeys in March that were literally asleep in the middle of the road. Nice shot!

I always wonder how they know where their home is; but how wonderful for them, assuming there aren't any critters that might like the taste of horse meat. Great capture!
